ABC/Image Group LAThe Recording Academy will honor Little Big Town next month, at its annual Grammys on the Hill celebration in Washington, D.C.

The reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year is being singled out for their work with music education and MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Academy.

“Music is healing and powerful,” Karen Fairchild says, “and music education gives our children an outlet for expression that is absolutely necessary for their overall growth and well-being. We will continue to do our part to protect music education, songwriters, recordings, and the artists who bring them to life.”

LBT will also perform at the April 18 ceremony at the Hamilton Live, in the nation’s capital. Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band and Don Henley are just some of the artists who’ve previously received the honor. This year’s event celebrates two decades of advocating for songwriters and musicians in D.C.
