A Seven Dolors Catholic Church priest was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence, according to a statement Monday from the Catholic Diocese of Salina.

Father Rafael Indave Campos, who is serving as parochial vicar at Seven Dolors, was arrested Sunday in connection with an alleged DUI incident.

“The diocese is gathering additional information and will cooperate with law enforcement as appropriate,” officials said in the statement. They said they had no further comment at this time.

Campos was appointed to his position in 2025. Before that he was parochial vicar at Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish in Salina.
