Luke Bryan plays his first headlining show at an NFL stadium Saturday night at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. Only a few country artists — like Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, George Strait and Taylor Swift — have reached the status of stadium headliner, and Luke is taking time to savor this milestone.
He tells ABC News Radio, “Being able to go play stadiums and sell out stadiums is the pinnacle of my dreams in this business, and I’m super-honored that the fans showed up and bought the tickets, and I’m going to put every fabric of my mind together to make it a great show.”
Luke will also headline Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts; Soldier Field in Chicago; and Lincoln Financial Stadium in Philadelphia this summer on his That’s My Kind of Night tour. The show is on the road through an October 25 date at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
