Luke Bryan is a favorite to take home the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards. Surprisingly, Luke has never won a CMA trophy before, but he’s definitely got the numbers to earn an Entertainer win this year. Luke has played to more than 1.7 million fans on the road in 2014, and taken every single from his latest album, Crash My Party, to the top of the country charts. He’ll perform his latest #1 hit, “Roller Coaster,” on ABC’s CMA Awards broadcast.
Even Luke agrees that 2014 couldn’t have been any sweeter for him. He says, “I’m so blessed that we can sit here this year and go, “Man, I think this has been the best of my life on all levels.”
Luke’s home life is solid with his wife, Caroline, by his side, and his young sons, Bo and Tate, growing up healthy, too.
Says Luke, “It’s been the best year ever personally.”
As for his sold out shows in stadiums, arenas and fair grounds across the country, Luke adds, “It’s just been overwhelming this year to the point to where I was almost kind of emotionally drained by the end of the last show, which [was] such an emotional high the whole year. So, it’s been amazing.”
Luke is also up for Male Vocalist and Album of the Year for Crash My Party at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards. The show airs live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
