“It’s a whole ordeal,” Luke admits. “Pap, he has his little accidents, but we’re forgiving him. We’re working on it. He’s still little though, so we’re cutting him some slack.”
The road can be a lonely place sometimes, so Luke is glad to have Pap’s company as he travels from city to city.
He says, “With all his barking and all his accidents and all his chewing up of shoes, it’s still worth having a bus dog on the bus. We love it.”
Luke is limiting his touring schedule this month as he prepares to co-host the 49th Annual ACM Awards with Blake Shelton. The show airs live from Las Vegas Sunday, April 6 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
