Maddie & Tae kicked off their Start Here tour Wednesday night at the Highline Ballroom in New York City. The 75-minute set included a crowd sing-along on the duo’s latest hit, “Fly,” as well as covers of Dolly Parton‘s “9 to 5,” Justin Timberlake‘s “Mirrors,” Rihanna‘s “Umbrella,” and “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. Of course, “Girl in a Country Song” was a big highlight.
Maddie & Tae’s Tae Dye says, ““This is everything Maddie and I have dreamed since we started writing songs at 15.”
Maddie & Tae are up for three trophies at the 49th Annual CMA Awards, coming up Wednesday, November 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
