
A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday night at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on drug charges and multiple outstanding warrants, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report at approximately 9:21 p.m. May 6th, 2026, in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road for possession of opiates, opium, narcotics or certain stimulants and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brian Havens, 47, of Manhattan, was arrested on charges of possession of opiates, opium, narcotics or certain stimulants and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with four Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear and one Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation.
The warrants stem from original charges that include possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement and criminal trespass.
Havens was issued no bond on one of the warrants and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
