A Manhattan man on Monday pleaded not guilty to 12 criminal charges across two cases in Riley County District Court.
Tayvon Nalijiah Agnew-Nash, 26, entered not guilty pleas to two counts of aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer, two counts of aggravated assault with a handgun, criminal discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and interference with law enforcement related to events on Feb. 6.
Agnew-Nash also pleaded not guilty to four counts of violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act between Feb. 20 and May 9, and one charge of from events on May 4.
Both cases are now on their way to trial, with the case from Feb. 6 being heard in a jury trial from Dec. 28-30, and the registration violation case going to trial on Jan. 19-20, 2026.
