Tuesday night marked the 105th season debut for the Manhattan Municipal Band. Although, a little later than normal, due to being rained out of its first three scheduled concerts between May 26 and June 3.
The hour-and-a-half performance featured Anna Wimmer, music teacher at Rock Creek Middle School, playing the piccolo in “Wrenn Polka” while Devon Autry, a senior-to-be at Kansas State University, took the spotlight on percussion during “Xylophonia.”
