A Manhattan woman was seriously injured Friday afternoon in a 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Patrol crash report, 29-year-old Marissa Lord was a passenger in a car that struck an SUV that had slowed as it was approaching a construction zone at around 3:30 p.m. The impact pushed the SUV into the rear of a third vehicle.
