Big Machine Label GroupIt’s been close to five years since Martina McBride had her last big hit on the country charts with “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.” Though her 2014 album Everlasting focused on R&B covers, the four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year is back with her new single, “Reckless.”
“I was immediately drawn to this song,” she says. “It’s really a song expressing gratitude to someone who is willing to reach out and see the best in you and loves you unconditionally. I feel like it’s universal and that most everyone had someone who believed in them and maybe even pulled them through a hard time. I’ve heard people say it reminds them of their relationship with their mom or sister or counselor.”
Reckless will also be the title of her thirteenth studio album, due this spring. You can check out Martina’s new song on YouTube now.
