Miranda says, “I’m not sunshine and roses. Blake’s the happiest person on the planet. He pulls me out of my darkness … Literally, everything is the best about being married.”

Miranda has learned to lighten up in the last few years when it comes to the details of her career. “I’m always anxious,” Miranda admits.  “I will worry myself into oblivion. I was trying to make everything regimented, and it caused too much stress. I learned everything doesn’t have to be perfect.”

She also opens up about her 20-pound weight loss, saying she feels better being onstage when she’s not jiggling everywhere. Still, Miranda did appreciate paparazzi circulating a picture of her in a bikini on the beach in Hawaii a few weeks back.

She explains, “I’m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized. But everybody’s making this big, giant thing about it. It’s way too much focus on women’s bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they’ve got going on.”

The Miranda cover story comes on the heels of her four Grammy nominations, which were announced Friday. She’s up for Best Country Album for Platinum, Best Country Performance and Best Country Song for “Automatic,” and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Somethin’ Bad,” with Carrie Underwood.

Miranda says, “Getting recognized by the music industry as a whole is so humbling and much appreciated by not only me, but the amazing team of people that make my world turn.”  She adds, “Congrats to all my fellow musicians and artists who are nominated. See y’all at the Grammys!!!”

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will broadcast live on CBS February 8.
