A night of unpredictability for the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards was highlighted by Miranda Lambert finally winning Entertainer of the Year.
Unfortunately, she was in Great Britain for the C2C Festival. D’oh!
Other highlights include Lainey Wilson picking up a surprise, but definitely deserving, win for Song of the Year for “Things a Man Oughta Know.” Morgan Wallen won Album of the Year for Dangerous: The Double Album. Say what you will about the controversy surrounding Wallen, but it’s hard to argue that Dangerous was the album of the year if you’re going to look at the sales criteria for the category.
