A Westmoreland woman was arrested Saturday night after a crash involving a motorcycle left one person injured.

According to the Riley County Police Department, officers responded around 10 p.m. to the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Marlatt Avenue.

Police said a 2013 Nissan Rogue driven by 20-year-old Hanna Marie Helget of Westmoreland struck the rear of a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle operated by 20-year-old Ryder Rice of Fort Riley.

Rice was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Helget was arrested around 10:35 p.m. on suspicion of aggravated battery while driving under the influence causing bodily harm and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

She was booked into the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on a $20,000 bond and is no longer confined.
