Burke/Triolo Productions/Thinkstock CMT will mark the passing of Burt Reynolds by airing the Smokey & the Bandit documentary, The Bandit, on Friday at 8 and 10 p.m. ET. The movie icon’s film Without a Paddle will also air Friday after the 10 p.m. showing of the doc. The Bandit will re-air Saturday at 12 p.m. ET as well.
Aaron Watson will fill in for Carrie Underwood Saturday at The Long Road festival in Lutterworth, England. Carrie was forced to cancel because of illness.
Eric Church previewed the track, “Higher Wire,” from his forthcoming Desperate Man album, for his Church Choir fan club on Thursday.
Lauren Alaina‘s new single, “Ladies in the ’90s” will be released October 5.
