With data centers coming to rural America, the Riley County Commission is among the many government agencies across the country considering what to allow in their area.
But the founder of a Kansas company advising municipalities on energy deals on Thursday told commissioners that it wouldn’t be as easy as copying an existing resolution from somewhere else.
“There’s no silver bullet to this,” AcreStrong managing partner Oleg Alba said. “There’s no resolution saying, ‘This is the resolution you use.’ It doesn’t exist.”
