
A North Carolina woman was hospitalized following a Thursday morning crash in Geary County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a pickup was eastbound on I-70 and took the Marshall Field exit to Fort Riley. While attempting to turn left, the vehicle spun out due to wet road conditions and struck a Jeep waiting to enter the interstate.
A passenger in the Jeep, 19-year-old Sarah Johnson, was transported to Stormont Vail-Flint Hills. Both drivers, from Florida, were not injured.
The KHP crash log noted all three were properly restrained.
