The Riley County Health Department reported one new positive case today, bring the total number of cases to 56.

The patient is a 62-year-old male.

The total number of recoveries sits at 35 while the number of active cases is at 21.

Pottawatomie County also reported no new positive cases Tuesday, keeping their total at 15. 11 of the 15 patients have recovered while the rest remain active. A total of 259 tests have been administered and health officials and are awaiting the results of two others.

Statewide, there are over 5700 positive cases, just over 570 hospitalizations and over 140 deaths.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is also reporting that over 36,000 tests have come back negative.
