ABC/Image Group LAThe night before the Sugar Bowl, Florida Georgia Line plans to play an unforgettable set as part of the Allstate Fan Fest in New Orleans.

“The energy’s gonna be epic,” Tyler Hubbard tells ABC Radio. “New Orleans is already an amazing place. But bring the Sugar Bowl to the city and team up with Allstate, and throw a little country music in the mix, and it’s just gonna be a huge party, man.”

Maren Morris is set to perform as well, and even if you can’t make it to the Crescent City, you can watch both Maren and FGL on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC.

“It’s something that we always get excited for,” Tyler reflects, having played the December 31 event multiple times. “It’s always an honor to be asked to be a part of such a special night… just a cool moment for us and a cool moment for the fans, and the fact that everybody can tune in and watch it live just adds a new element of excitement and energy.”

Since Tyler and Brian Kelley didn’t put on a major tour this year, Tyler admits they’re more pumped than ever to hit the stage.

“You know, it’s something we’ve been looking forward to for awhile,” he explains. “You know, a lot of times by the end of the year, you know a lot of artists have been touring all year and are slightly burned out, you know, and exhausted. And that’s not us this year.”

“You know, we’re energized. We’re ready to rock, and yeah, we oughta be bringing the party to New Orleans for sure,” he adds.

You can tune in to watch for FGL Tuesday, December 31 starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
