A person was found dead inside a vehicle after a crash late Sunday at the Junction City Walmart.
Officers with the Junction City Police Department responded to the scene just before 8:30 p.m. at 521 E. Chestnut Street and located a vehicle that had struck large electrical components associated with the business. The crash caused damage to the Walmart store’s electrical infrastructure, leading to a loss of power and temporary closure.
Police did not identify the deceased individual, but ruled out foul play. Detectives are currently conducting a death investigation.
