Officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 600 block of Pecan Dr. yesterday morning. Officers listed Patricia Olson, 76, of Manhattan, as the victim when she reported that an unknown suspect took a brake booster, car battery, and serpentine belt from her vehicle, as well as damaged a tail light. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $700.00.

Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary in the 2700 block of Christopher Cir. yesterday at appromixately 9:00 AM. Officers listed Kimberly Kohake, 34, of Manhattan, David Kohake, 39, of Manhattan, an 11 year old male, a 6 year old male, a 3 year old male, a 1 year old male, and a 6 month old male as the victims when it was reported that an unknown suspect entered the garage and took key fobs, a garage door opener, and several tools. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,730.00.

Officers filed a report for forgery and theft by deception in the city of Manhattan yesterday evening. Officers listed Cheyenne Allen, 22, of Manhattan, as the victim when she reported that she sent approximately $2,945.00 to an unknown suspect in Texas in what was later determined to be a fraud. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Officers filed a report for battery in the 00 block of John Pride Ln. Thursday at approximately 7:20 PM. Officers listed Deborah Murrell, 43, of Manhattan, and Jacqueline Murrell, 62, of Manhattan, as the victims when Deborah reported that a known suspect battered her and both Deborah and Jacqueline reported that the same suspect damaged both of their vehicles. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $750.00.

Travis Jacobs, 37, of Wichita, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department last night. Jacobs was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jacobs’ bond was set at $5,000.00, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

Adam Marston, 33, of Abilene, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department late Thursday night. Marston was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. His bond was set at $5,000.00. Marston was not confined at the time of this report.
