Riley County police arrested 21-year-old Jamar Simms, of Spencer, Oklahoma in the 1600 block of Charles Place in Manhattan Monday morning at approximately 10:30 AM. Police arrested Simms on a warrant from Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, where he was wanted for two counts of murder. He is being held at the Riley County Jail without bond with extradition currently pending.
A Fort Riley man was arrested on Monday afternoon at approximately 3:55 PM in the 200 block of Custer Ave. in Fort Riley. 24-year old Larry Anumodu was arrested on the offense of rape. The arrest stemmed from an investigation that began earlier this month. He is being held on a bond of $100,000 and is confined at the Riley County jail.
Mark Hecker, 20, of Louisville was arrested in the 1400 block of Anderson Ave. on Monday afternoon at approximately 3:50 PM. Hecker was arrested on the offense of failure to appear with an original offense of aggravated battery. He is being held at the Riley County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
