
Two Manhattan residents were arrested Tuesday following the execution of a search warrant that led to numerous drug-related charges, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers executed the search warrant at approximately 2:07 p.m. March 10 in the 1700 block of Winne Drive. As a result of the investigation, officers filed reports that included three counts of possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant and additional charges related to the distribution of fentanyl and other controlled substances.
LaShenna Dye, 36, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:20 p.m. on three counts of possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant and one count each of distributing material containing fentanyl, distribution or possession with intent to distribute heroin, certain stimulants or fentanyl in an amount between 3.5 and 100 grams, distribution or possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia for illegal use, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia in the human body and aggravated endangering of a child.
DeShell Patterson, 25, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:05 p.m. on the same charges, including three counts of possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant and one count each of distributing material containing fentanyl, distribution or possession with intent to distribute heroin, certain stimulants or fentanyl in an amount between 3.5 and 100 grams, distribution or possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia for illegal use, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia in the human body and aggravated endangering of a child.
Both Dye and Patterson were issued total bonds of $75,000 and remain confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
