The Riley County Police Department is investigating the theft of a cellphone reported Thursday night in Aggieville.

Officers filed a report of theft of property or services just after 11 p.m. June 25, 2026, in the 1100 block of Moro Street.

A 22-year-old woman was listed as the victim after it was reported an unknown suspect stole her iPhone 16 after it had been misplaced.

The total estimated loss associated with the case is $1,600.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously and may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
