Christopher J’mael Barnes, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:10 p.m. on July 13, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a pair of Geary County District Court warrants for probation violation. Barnes was issued no bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Officers filed a report of theft and criminal damage to property at approximately 5:20 p.m. on July 13 in the 3500 block of Hudson Circle. A 35-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered her residence and stole various items. The estimated total loss associated with this case is more than $10,000.
