Riley County Police are investigating an alleged theft of jewelry from a Manhattan hotel room this week.
Authorities filed a report for theft of property lost or mislaid just after 1 p.m. Tuesday after a 57-year-old woman said she left jewelry in a hotel room after checking out from the Holiday Inn at 1641 Anderson Avenue. The item is now missing.
The total estimated loss associated is $10,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
