Discharge of fireworks begin at 8 a.m. and goes until midnight on the 4th.
“Shall not prohibit the discharge, firing, or ignition, at anytime, or approved fireworks as set forth in Section 6, herein, upon land zoned for agricultural purposes pursuant to the zoning regulations of Riley County, Kansas, and with permission of the landowner or tenant, provided any such discharge, firing or ignition does not occur within 200 feet of any property line.
POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY
Wamego
Fireworks can be discharged from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 1-3, July 4 from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. and July 5 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Westmoreland
Fireworks can be discharged June 29 through July 3 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., July 4 from 8 a.m. to midnight and July 5 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saint Mary’s
Fireworks may be purchased and discharged June 27 through July 3 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., July 4 from 8 a.m. to midnight and July 5 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. only if the 4th falls on a Friday or Saturday.
