A rural Leonardville man has been arrested on multiple charges of child sexual exploitation.
The Riley County Police Department says 27-year-old David Michael Katz was taken into custody around 8:30 Tuesday morning. A Riley County District Court warrant lists eight counts of sexual exploitation of a child, specifically for possessing media involving a minor under the age of 18.
Katz was arrested at a home in the 8900 block of Alert Road, southwest of Leonardville.
He was issued a total bond of $25,000 and has since been released from the Riley County Jail.
