A Texas man was found guilty Friday afternoon of three charges involving drug distribution by a jury in Riley County District Court.
Jose Miguel Rivera, 33, of Balch Springs, Texas, was convicted of distribution of at least 1 kilogram of cocaine, distribution of between 100 grams and 1 kilogram of psilocybin — also known as mushrooms — and using a cell phone to commit, cause or facilitate the commission of distribution of controlled substances.
He was found not guilty of a second cocaine distribution count and a charge of marijuana distribution. Rivera is set for sentencing May 5 with judge Grant Bannister.
