ABC/Chris HolloAfter 14 months and 86 concerts all over the globe, Taylor Swift‘s RED tour has finally come to an end. Her fans aren’t quite ready to let go, however, using the hashtag #LongLiveREDTour on Twitter to express their sadness about the fact that it’ll be a while before they get to see their idol rock the stage again.  That’s why Taylor’s taken to Instagram with a message designed to make them feel better.

Taylor wrote, “Just so you know….” and posted a photo of a piece of paper with this quote by author C.S. Lewis: “There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”

This is, we assume, a reference to the fact that Taylor will now have time to finish up her new album, which she said is “already my favorite thing that I’ve ever created.”  It’s due at the end of the year, and a slew of TV and magazine appearances will likely precede and follow its release, so cheer up, Swifties:  it won’t be long before you’ll have wall-to-wall Taylor in your life once again.
