Demand for Garth Brooks tickets in Fargo, North Dakota Friday was more than the ticket system could take. Sales have been suspended until next Thursday, so that a ticketing system that crashed can be fixed.
“This has been quite an emotional morning for people trying to get tickets and for people trying to sell tickets,” the superstar said in a statement. “This show will be on Mother’s Day Weekend, I think that adds a huge amount of emotion to the mix. I would like to thank the people that showed up today to buy tickets. You have all of my love and gratitude and please accept my apologies for the frustration. I would also like to thank the people that tried to sell tickets today, you have all of my love and gratitude and I sympathize with your frustration.”
Tickets already sold for the May 6 and 7 shows at the FARGODOME will still be honored. Sales resume Thursday at 10 a.m. CT online and at 1-844-4-GarthB.
