Sandbox EntertainmentShania Twain maintains a civil line of communication with her ex-husband, Mutt Lange, as they continue to co-parent their 13-year-old son, Eja. That communication doesn’t include Shania’s former best friend, Marie Anne, who had an affair with Mutt and went on to marry him after he and Shania divorced.
Shania tells the New York Post, “I don’t see her, ever. I don’t invite that trigger into my life…She’s not my future — she’s my past.”
Shania actually tied the knot with Marie-Anne’s ex-husband, Frederic, in 2011. She takes her Rock This Country tour to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
