A couple of accidents were reported in Pottawatomie county Sunday, including one involving a motorcycle on Carnahan Road shortly after 3:30 in the afternoon. The Pottawatomie county Sheriff’s Department worked that accident and more information is expected later Monday morning.
And the Kansas Highway Patrol indicates a 21-year-old Soldier man was injured in an accident on K-63 just north of Grandview Road in Pottawatomie County. Aaron Goforth was driving a Nissan Versa southbound on K-63 when the vehicle struck a deer. Goforth was taken to Onaga Community Hospital. The accident was reported shortly after six a.m. Sunday. Goforth was wearing a seatbelt.
