After dropping not-so-subtle hints about an upcoming event, Taylor Swift has now ended the mystery for her fans.
As she revealed in a Twitter posting, the singer will be doing a worldwide live stream event August 18 on Yahoo! It’ll take place at 5 p.m. ET, and fans based in New York City can enter for a chance to attend the event in person.
As for what Taylor is going to be discussing during this event, her website describes it as “exciting news.” It’s most likely details about her brand-new album, or perhaps the first single from that album.
Visit TaylorSwift.com for all the info, including how to host your own live stream party.
Meanwhile, there’s speculation online that Taylor’s new single is called “Polaroid.” This is chiefly because a Polaroid camera is visible in one of the “clue” images Taylor posted, and also because, as Stereogum reports, Taylor apparently invited some top radio programmers to her apartment, and they all tweeted and Instagrammed Polaroid photos of themselves hanging with her. Stay tuned.
