File this under “Things Nobody Asked For.”
The candy company Brach’s is apparently offering tailgate-flavored candy corn this year. Which, I didn’t realize candy corn had a flavor other than “slightly waxy”, but here we are.
The flavors offered are: hot dog, hamburger, popcorn, vanilla ice cream and fruit punch.
OK, I get hot dogs and hamburgers. I will even allow for popcorn, because you can buy it at the stadium. Vanilla ice cream is a weird choice.
Fruit punch is bizarre on the surface except for two things. 1) No one wants beer-flavored candy corn. And 2) I’ve been to tailgates in the past where the fruit punch was infused with Everclear.
I don’t really miss college, now that I think on it.
