Authorities in Abilene arrested two Wichita residents Thursday morning on a host of charges after they were caught in a stolen vehicle.

The Abilene Police Department received an alert from a local Flock license plate reader that reported the stolen vehicle from Wichita. Police located the vehicle at the Love’s Travel Center and as police approached it, a suspect, later identified as 26-year-old Daniel Natoli, fled from the vehicle and was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

He faces potential charges of theft, interference with law enforcement and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, after officers found illegal narcotics and a handgun inside the vehicle.

A second occupant, 24-year-old Ivey Graves, faces possible charges that include possession of stolen property, methamphetamine and marijuana.
