Two people have been charged in connection to a pair of shootings last fall in Manhattan.

The Riley County Police Department said Friday that 20-year-old Victor Fuentes, Jr., of Compton, California, and 17-year-old Delron Tyree, Jr., of Topeka, had each been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, three counts of criminal damage to property and single counts of criminal discharge to property. Fuentes is additionally charged with single counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated child endangerment and contributing to a child’s misconduct. Tyree is additionally charged with criminal use of weapons.

Both are accused in separate overnight shootings that occurred Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The shootings happened less than a mile apart, in the 2000 block of College Heights and the 1800 block of Claflin Road. According to RCPD, a 23-year-old woman and three other unidentified victims, sustained gunshot wounds. All were treated and released.

Fuentes is confined on a $750,000 bond.
