7 p.m. Tuesday update
MANHATTAN — An investigation continues after a bank robbery was reported in east Manhattan Tuesday afternoon and two suspects are now being sought.
Riley County Police say two black men, approximately 5’5″ to 5’6″ tall and slender build entered the United Bank and Trust at 2000 Tuttle Creek Blvd. shortly before 4 p.m. The first suspect, dressed in all black remained near the entrance while suspect two approached a teller and presented a demand note. He also was wearing a black coat with a black hoodie underneath and black pants.
Police say no weapon was shown or threatened. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled the bank on foot eastbound with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police are working to obtain surveillance photos of the suspects. Anyone with information is urged to call RCPD at 785-537-2112 or Crime Stoppers at 785-539-7777.

MANHATTAN — Riley County Police are investigating an alleged robbery that occurred Tuesday evening, shortly before 4 p.m.
The incident occurred at the United Bank and Trust, at the 2000 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. Police received a 911 call and remained on scene as of 5 p.m. Two suspects left the area on foot. There were no injuries.
A suspect description is currently pending and more information will be released as it becomes available. Police are asking anyone with information to help solve the crime contact the police department at 785-537-2112 or Crime Stoppers at 785-539-7777.
