A Manhattan woman convicted of an array of drug charges in September was sentenced Monday in Riley County District Court. She will serve a sentence of more than 31 years in prison.
Catrien Van-Petten, 36, was scheduled for a status hearing on Monday to get rulings for motions she made and to evaluate where the prosecution and defense were at with the case since Van-Petten was granted a new attorney to represent her in the remainder of the case.
Before proceeding with sentencing, Judge John Bosch denied Van-Petten’s motions for a new trial and disqualification from Bosch presiding over her case.
