After a weekend that saw an up-and-coming singer gunned down during an autograph session and dozens lose their lives during an attack at a nightclub, Keith Urban reflected on the recent developments before his performance on the last night of CMA Music Festival 2016 in Nashville. Specifically, he pondered how meet-and-greets and concerts could potentially change in light of the recent violence.
“Be vigilant of it, for sure, yeah absolutely. Really after the Bataclan Theatre in Paris, for all of us, I think that’s when we all saw how easy something like that can happen,” he said, referring to the attacks that claimed more than 100 lives last November.
“Everybody’s in the same boat. We’re trying to also live our life as well. So we’re as vigilant as we can be,” the Aussie superstar says. “But my heart goes out to all the families down in Orlando today.”
