Tierre Wall

Tierre Wall

A 26-year-old Fort Riley man, remains without counsel as he faces 2nd degree murder charges.

Wearing a prison jump suit, Tierre Wall appeared in Riley County Court  for a status hearing on Monday morning.

Wall informed Judge David Stutzman that he is awaiting a decision from attorney John Thurston, as to whether or not he will take him on as a client.

Wall said that both he and his family have expressed to Thurston, their desire to find counsel as quickly as possible.

The Fort Riley man parted ways with attorney Brenda Jordan – his second attorney in the case, in December.

Wall allegedly shot 27-year-old Casey Lindley in the forehead during a March 2015 confrontation.

Judge Stuzman informed Wall that he would research the matter further, telling him that if counsel is not secured by January 19th, it will be appointed – in the interest of keeping the trial moving.
