The region will enjoy one more warm, pleasant day before a shift back to more typical January conditions begins on Thursday.

Forecasters say rain is expected to move in tomorrow, followed by a transition to light rain and snow by Friday evening. Confidence in the finer details of the system remains low, but most locations are expected to see around an inch or less of accumulation. The greatest chances for measurable snow will be across north-central Kansas.

Residents are encouraged to stay updated on the latest forecasts as the pattern changes heading into the weekend.
