ABC Radio Kacey Musgraves gave the audience at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium an unexpected treat on the Friday night stop on the Oh, What A World Tour: She debuted her contribution to Brooks & Dunn’s forthcoming REBOOT record.
As Kacey began singing alone, “Neon Moon” seemed right at home alongside the other tunes she’d been doing from her CMA-and-Grammy-winning Golden Hour album. Once Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn appeared — much to the delight of the hometown crowd — the #1 from 1992 started sounding more like the original.
The full REBOOT record — which pairs B&D with other hot names like Luke Combs, Brothers Osborne, and Thomas Rhett — comes out April 5.
