A 49-year-old Wichita man was arrested Thursday evening on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear stemming from multiple drug allegations.
Jamal Rhsard Williams was arrested just after 6 p.m. at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center. The warrant stems from original charges including distribution of more than 100 grams of methamphetamine, distribution of opiates, opium, narcotics or stimulants and distribution of less than 3.5 grams of methamphetamine.
Williams’ original charges also include possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with a law enforcement officer and trafficking contraband into a correctional or care facility.
Williams was issued a $250,000 bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
