Reviver Records“Don’t Get Better Than That” is turning out to be more than LOCASH’s latest hit: It also seems to be the theme song for their career these days.
Last fall, Preston Brust and Chris Lucas were nominated for CMA Vocal Duo, and now they’re up for the comparable award at the ACMs — as well as the New Vocal Duo or Group trophy.
“Waking up to two ACM nominations is like waking up on Christmas morning,” Preston says. “Such a special gift and one we don’t take for granted. We have been blown away by all of the congratulations and well wishes!”
“…Having two nominations is a feeling we’ll never forget,” Chris agrees.
The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards will be handed out Sunday, April 15 in Las Vegas. Prior to that, LOCASH heads out on tour with Billy Currington, starting March 30.
