Big LoudIf Jordan Davis and Chris Janson want to go “Down to the Honkytonk,” they could drive there in the new golf carts their former tour mate Jake Owen just gave them.

“Didn’t think [the] Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour’ this past summer could have been any better,” Jordan tweeted, posting a photo of his new ride. “Then I get this as a gift from Jake Owen…Thank you so much buddy.”

Jake, of course, is an avid golfer who played in college before being sidelined by a wake-boarding injury. Jake gifted his other summer tour opener, Chris Janson, a golf cart too.

“On the road today,” Chris tweeted on Friday, “and get news that this is waiting in my driveway at home from Jake Owen.”

“Jake, dude, love ya big time,” he continued. “You’re a great friend, classy dude, and I had an excellent time on tour with you. Proud to call you my buddy. Thank you.”

Chris also included a picture of his new wheels, which come complete with camo accents.

“It’s my thanks for you spending your 2018 summer with us buddy!” Jake responded. “Glad ya dig it.”

Chris is currently readying new music, as he plays dates in Minnesota and Iowa this weekend.

Meanwhile, Jordan is joining Old Dominion and Morgan Evans on the Make It Sweet tour as his second hit, “Take It from Me,” remains in the top ten. Jake’s latest single, “Down to the Honkytonk,” isn’t far behind.
