Capitol NashvilleLittle Big Town will deliver a dose of Pain Killer for country fans come October 21.  That’s the newly announced release date for LBT’s sixth studio album which the group hopes will build on the success of its first single, “Day Drinking.”  The foursome co-wrote eight of the project’s 13 tracks, reuniting with producer Jay Joyce, the man behind their million-selling Tornado CD.

Fifteen years into LBT’s history as a band, Karen Fairchild says she and band mates Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Philip Sweet are still forging new territory.

“Sometimes you don’t know what’s going to happen in the studio. You just have to dive in head first and work hard to do something unique,” Karen observes. “We’re always striving and pushing ourselves to go somewhere new. Pain Killer is a new place for sure.”

Here’s the track list for Pain Killer:

“Quit Breaking Up with Me”
“Day Drinking”
“Tumble and Fall”
“Pain Killer”
“Girl Crush”
“Faster Gun”
“Good People”
“Stay All Night”
“Save Your Sin”
