Columbia NashvilleNewcomer Maren Morris’s first album is a hit, right out of the gate. Hero debuts at number one on Billboard’s Country Albums chart, moving enough copies to also emerge at number five on the all-genre Billboard 200 ranking. Maren is the first country artist this year to hit number one with her first effort.
This week, the Texas native follows up her breakthrough hit, “My Church,” by releasing her sophomore single. You should start hearing “80’s Mercedes” on the radio any day now.
