Officer in Riley County with the assistance of Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Dortch while near the intersection of Osborne Lane and Highway 24 on June 13, 2016 at approximately 4:40 AM. The 54-year-old Manhattan man was arrested on several warrants (2 failure to appear and 1 probation violation) with original offenses of attempt to flee and elude, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and criminal possession of a firearm. He was given a total bond of $19,000.00.
The Riley County Police Department arrested Stormy Tarr, 28, of Manhattan on the offense of aggravated battery. She was arrested on June 13, 2016 at approximately 10:00 AM following a verbal domestic altercation that became violent and involved a knife. Police found that a 26-year-old male victim, known to Tarr, received several cut injuries as a result. These injuries did not appear to be life threatening. Her bond was set at 10,000.00.
James Cromer, 37, of Springfield, Missouri was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on June 13, 2016 at approximately 10:15 AM. Cromer was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, the original offense was listed as driving under the influence. He was given a bond of $7,000.00.
Elizabeth Meyer, 18, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on June 13, 2016 at approximately 4:50 PM. Meyer was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and given a bond of $5,000.00. This warrant originated in Geary County, Kansas and caused her to be confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
The Riley County Police Department arrested Kevin Mason, 30, of Manhattan on June 13, 2016 at approximately 5:20 PM. Mason was arrested on several warrants, one count for failure to appear and two counts for probation violation. The original offenses listed on these warrants were interference with law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, and criminal use of a financial card. His bond was set at 36,500.00.
