MCA NashvilleSam Hunt hosted a party at The Crying Wolf bar in East Nashville Wednesday to celebrate his latest #1 hits, “Take Your Time” and “House Party.” During a press conference with his co-writers on those songs, Sam shared the credit for coming up with his unique style of country music.
He says, “Fortunately, I was able to get around some really talented people who were willing to think outside the box like me and just kind of follow our own instincts and we all just hit it off musically and personally.”
Though Sam’s good looks and distinctive fashion sense has helped set him apart from the rest of the crowded field of country guys, he knows it all begins and ends with the music.
“It really goes back to just those relationships that I started back several years ago when we started writing,” Sam explains.
In the past few months, Sam has changed up his look by growing a bushy beard. He thought he might shave it off after filming his upcoming video for “Breakup in a Small Town,” but now he’s not sure when he’ll be losing the facial hair.
Says Sam, “I kinda got attached to it, because we’ve been through so much together over the last month and a half. So, I’m gonna keep it a little longer, but who knows.”
Look for Sam to join Luke Bryan‘s Farm Tour 2015 for a few shows early next month.
